Lactation Medicine Consultation
Dr. Berens is a physician (MD) and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) who offers individual prenatal and postpartum consultations for lactation support. We can assist with breastfeeding/chestfeeding difficulties, creating a plan to maintain lactation upon return to work, as well as with induced lactation. Virtual and in-office consultations are available.

All visits are available virtually or in our office and include 7 days of virtual follow-up support via email.
Our office does not contract with any insurance companies or bill insurance companies for any services. A Superbill will be provided for individual visits that can be submitted for insurance reimbursement.
No-shows or cancellations with less than 24 hours notice (during business hours) will be charged the full cost of the visit. Please call or text us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
